My mother bought me my first subscription, years ago. I remember being surprised by this, because I don't think of her as a magazine reader, but after opening to a wonderful story about how a city in Holland decreased traffic accidents by
removing traffic signs in their community, I understood. She'd discovered what the news could be—in a "magazine for intelli
gent optimists," filled with creative and positive stories that open the door to new possibilities and solutions. And now I get to pass it along to you. :)
