Good morning Gaia!
Welcome to the first edition of our new bi-monthly newsletter. Every two weeks, you'll get a note from either Jessica or myself with a story about a campaign, a special offer, or gift for Gaia members.
This week, we're happy to offer a free sample copy of Ode Magazine. All you need to do is click to fill out your address.
My mother bought me my first subscription, years ago. I remember being surprised by this, because I don't think of her as a magazine reader, but after opening to a wonderful story about how a city in Holland decreased traffic accidents by

(If you're one of those, like me, who tends to avoid mainstream news—after all, who wants to waste time fretting about what's wrong with the world?—this is a wonderful opportunity to engage in a new way. "News" doesn't have to mean panic and drama! News is what we connect around, all of us, and the stories found in Ode, I've found, inspire the sorts of conversations and relationships that the world needs more of.)
So click here to get your free issue, and if you already subscribe, feel free to pass this along to someone else who might benefit. As for me, I'm going to take my latest issue and leave it at the coffee shop I wrote from last week, with a little inscription tucked inside:
Now this is yours.
To news that's truly new, and a world that supports it,
