Position Overview: The Programming Administrator will play a critical role in managing contracts and supporting the film acquisitions process. This position requires a strong understanding of film industry practices, contract negotiation, and the ability to navigate complex legal frameworks. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance, manage documentation, and collaborate closely with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Draft and review contracts related to film acquisitions, production, distribution, and licensing.
- Maintain an organized system for all contracts and related documents.
- Maintain and keep updated internal system used by the content team.
- Serve as the main contact for updating various reports that are viewed and shared with colleagues across different departments.
- Support the film acquisitions team by conducting due diligence and market research on films.
- Assist in the evaluation of film projects, providing insights on contractual obligations and risks.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to resolve contract-related issues.
- Monitor contract performance and track renewal dates, ensuring timely action on expirations and extensions.
- Research, source and curate programs/films that would be a fit for the network including initial screening of the films.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices relevant to film acquisitions and business affairs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, law, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in contracts administration within the film, production, or entertainment industry.
- Strong understanding of film acquisition processes and business affairs.
- Excellent negotiation skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze legal documents and provide clear guidance.
- Proficient in contract management software, Air Table, Media Maestro and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Fluency in Spanish, French, German or Portuguese is a plus
- US citizenship or US residency with an existing work permit is required
- Non-smoker
- Must be available to work on our campus in Louisville, CO. This is not a remote role.

- Range: $90000 - $140000 (USD)
