Aaron Russo on America: From Freedom to Fascism
Aaron Russo, writer/filmmaker/director of the movie America: From Freedom to Fascism, discusses the history of the Federal Reserve system, the true agenda of those in power, and the legality of the IRS (Internal Revenue Service). He exposes how the federal government is not legally allowed to charge American citizens a federal income tax, and how our civil liberties are eroding under the guise of national security. Are these simple conspiracy theories or are government agencies working against us? Born in Brooklyn and raised on Long Island, Aaron Russo began promoting rock and roll shows at local theaters while still in high school. From there, he worked in his family’s business and opened a night club in Chicago where he helped create the careers of such legendary acts as Led Zeppelin, The Who, Janis Joplin, The Grateful Dead and Jefferson Airplane. Aaron managed Bette Midler and was the first Hollywood Producer to command $1 million for his services, with titles such as Trading Places and The Rose. This interview was filmed in the summer of 2006, Aaron Russo died of bladder cancer on August 24th 2007.
