Tony Redhouse on Native American Healing
Growing up in Monterey, California Tony Redhouse’s father made the decision that the kids grew up knowing their heritage. This had its benefits and its burdens. Tony took this knowledge forward into his adult life as did his siblings. They emerged as musicians and healers, but this did not come without its difficulties including struggles with addictions. Knowing these places inside himself, Tony has turned his energies to healing others, including women with addictions, through his Native American arts and music.
Tony has served as a traditional Native American practitioner & consultant to Native American communities and behavioral health organizations for many years. He is a visual artist, Grammy nominated recording artist, inspirational speaker, spiritual teacher, hoop and eagle dancer and uses Native American art, dance and music to inspire and heal lives.
