Union of Self to Divine
Sadhvi Bhagawti Saraswati explains the true meaning of yoga in this short talk, using the imagery of the Ganges River as a beautiful metaphor for the diverse ways that yoga is practiced. Contrary to how yoga is perceived by much of the world today, the practice is not a union of nose to knees or palms to ground. Yoga is not a verb, but rather a noun; it not what you do but who you are.
And while each person can choose how they come to understand and practice yoga, at the end of the day the goal of union of Self to Divine is one and the same.
