Upper Body: Upside Down
We literally turn our upper body toning upside down in this practice from Andrea Marcum. It’s a playful sequence with serious sculpting to get fit for summer. Physical strength feeds our courage too, so we’ll stare down a few walls while we’re at it. Your inversion practice and your tank tops will thank you. This is a class designed to target upper body strength and is not intended to replace a more thorough practice. This video is part of our Yoga Sculpt Fusion practice guide. Contraindications: Inverting is not for those of us with high blood pressure or eye pressure issues. We play around with some advanced options against the wall. Modified options are offered and encouraged. Those with wrist, elbow and shoulder concerns proceed with caution and take modifications and breaks.
