We can learn to use pain as a teacher. In short, everything we experience becomes part of our evolution. Growing up as an empath, Matt Kahn found that any time someone treated him in a hostile way, he would naturally see the person’s pain that generated the attack, and so he found himself responding with compassion instead of aggression. In time, he realized that love is always the answer. He invites us to recognize that the most difficult things that ever happen to us are meant to be the greatest opportunities we’re given to grow and evolve.
