The Practice
Paul Muller-Ortega Ph.D.
It is said that deep tantric meditation is a natural practice, but it has to be learned. There is a pathway inside us we need to locate in a certain way, and one of the roles of a teacher of meditation is to guide us to orient ourselves in the right way for a current to flow along that pathway. The essence of meditation is the journey of exploration of those interior spaces of consciousness.
Paul Muller-Ortega Ph.D. offers a short (three-minute) practice, called “amrita guru,” that anyone can do for themselves. It is a practice of aligning inside our own awareness a place of wisdom, a place of guidance, a place of inspiration. This is one of the practices that can help us turn to our inner wisdom for response to such questions as: Where am I supposed to go? What am I supposed to do? How can I choose? How can I make the right direction for my life?
