Heart Over Mind

This is a very unique practice intended to take the yoga practice beyond the physical in order to witness what is happening on a mind and heart level. Intentionally sequenced to take different postures on each side of the body, this class asks us to experience how the judging mind shows up and encourages us to be reminded that balance doesn't always look the way we expect it to. Begin standing with side body opening before moving into a standing series of balancing and lunge-based shapes. End with a long savasana to quiet the mind and create space for the presence of the heart.
